Después de decenios de abandono, incuria, degrado, finalmente se abre la obra de restauro del Mausoleo del Emperador Augusto en Roma. Por años, este ejemplo de arquitectura romana Antigua, construida en el año 28 a.C, se había convertido en un basural, tierra de ratones, de vagabundos y saqueadores. La alcalde de Roma Virginia Raggi acaba de presentar oficialmente dicha abertura , que será financiada con aportes públicos y en parte privado, gracias a un acuerdo con la compañía telefónica Telecom . Telecom aportará 6 millones de Euros, compromiso adquirido durante el gobierno del anterior Alcalde Ignacio Marino. (ANSA) – Rome, May 3 – The monumental tomb of Rome’s first emperor, Augustus, is to return to “iconic” status after decades of neglect, Rome Mayor Virginia Raggi said in unveiling a six-million-euro project funded by telecoms giant Tim.
